They rented a building from Mrs. Worthington. It is the small building across from Files Tire.
In 1970 Daddy bought this shop from Tony Cataldo (Mr. Tony). It was a three chair shop and I got a shine chair, I had hit the big times. I would have been about 7 years old at that point. In 1980 Daddy moved the shop to his house @ New Castle and Tarrant Rd where it was until Daddy's death in 2015.
I moved the shop to it's current location after Daddy's passing in 2015. Being born into barbering I started sweeping floors and shining shoes at about 5 years old. By the time I was 12ish Daddy had me cutting his and a couple of relatives hair. I've stood on Coca-Cola flats so I could reach their hair to cut it.

When I graduated high school Daddy offered to pay for my barber college. For graduating barber college he would give me half ownership of the shop. I told him he had lost his mind. That I would never stand behind a barber chair for a living. LOL
Now here I stand.
